Bareboating is for those who
want to chart their own course and define adventures on
their own terms. It’s not a
passive vacation where you put your feet up and someone else makes all the
decisions and puts a drink in your hand and herds you to dinner on a
predefined schedule. You make the
decisions, discover your own hidden treasures, set your own schedule, chart
your own course, and change it whenever the spirit or wind moves you in a new
direction.
Expert or Novice Sailor?
Either way, no problem.
Bareboat charters give you a variety of choices and the freedom to
design your perfect vacation, and maybe learn some new skills along the way.
You can have as much or as little sailing and navigation assistance as
you need. If you are already
experienced sailors, you will be comfortable with a few hours of boat and
chart briefing. But you may need,
or just prefer, to hire a local professional captain to do the sailing and
navigation for you. You can hire a captain for the first few days, or for the
entire trip. Either way, you call
the shots and set the schedule.
The
boat comes equipped with everything you need to have a great vacation.
You can choose to do your own provisioning at the excellent local
supermarkets or you can have TMM provision the boat to your
specifications so the boat is stocked and the beer is chilled - all ready to
head out when you arrive.
