If you are attending the Annapolis Boat Show (also called the United States Sailboat Show) you can pick up a brochure depicting Sunny Skies at the Sail Away Catamaran booth on Dock D, or better yet come down to the Catamaran open house at Pier 7 Marina in Edgewater and see the boat (no appointment necessary during boat show hours). Many people attend the Annapolis Boat show to see the many cruising catamarans available. Once they have seen the spatious interior and deck space on cruising catamarans, and the quality produced by boatbuilders like Fountaine Pajot, they get excited about the possibilities of owning an ocean-going crusing catamaran. Owning a cruising catamaran gives you the flexiblity to cruise the world and live your dreams on your own schedule. There are many advantages to buying a used boat that has been doing serious cruising, in addition to the obvious advantage of price.
Any new boat is going to require a lot of thought, work, time and expense to get it ready for long-distance cruising and extended live-aboard. Over the years we have made many additions and upgrades to Sunny Skies - refrigeration, solar power, batteries, sun screens, improved access to storage, oversized furling gear to make the boat easily and safely handled by two people just to name a few.
If you are unable to visit Annapolis Sailboat Show you can email or call any time to set up an appointment to view the boat. She is currently in the Chesapeake and will be there through October 17, 2011. After that Sunny Skies will be heading south back toward Florida.
